During the “60′s” when I was growing up I lived three miles north of the Bridge on Mc Kee Road Erie County, PA. We used to go swimming, picnicking, and just having a great day at the bridge. I was totally saddened to hear about the bridge being burned. What a tragedy to happen to such a great landmark. I wish whom ever did it had to rebuild it with on power tools or any modern day convenience.! I do pray the ones responsible did receive punishment!
