My ancestors built this barn. My grandfather, his brothers and my great-grandfather to be exact. I took some photos of it a few years ago and have heard that it had recently been torn down because of taxes. If that is true it is so sad. It is/was a beautiful barn and showed the exquisite workmanship and talent of the Mognet Brothers. I’m glad I was able to get some photos for my dad, my siblings and myself before part of our heritage was destroyed.
